- From the centre of Bath follow the signs for the A46 towards the M4 motorway,
Tetbury and Stroud.
- Take the A46 North for about 13 miles (you will cross over the M4 motorway)
then bear right onto the A433 towards Tetbury.
- From Tetbury carry on for about another 8 miles towards Cirencester, you
will still be on the A433 but the A429 joins it shortly before Cirencester.
- When you reach Cirencester you can either go through the town centre (which
is quite pretty) or you can follow the ring-road around Cirencester to join
the A429 again towards Stow on the Wold, either way follow the signs for the
A429 towards Stow.
- Leave Cirencester on the A429 towards Stow and Bibury.
- You will cross a bridge over the A417/A419 (Cheltenham - Swindon) road.
- After about 100 yards turn left at the traffic lights onto the A429 (the Fosse Way) towards Stow
- After about 15 miles you will come to a set of traffic lights where you
can turn off for Bourton-on-the-Water, keep going straight through the lights
- After another 3 miles you will come to the traffic lights where the A424 from Burford meets the A429 (the Fosse Way)
- Go straight on, up the hill towards Stow-on-the-Wold, stay in the left lane up the hill as it is easy to miss our entrance, it isn't far up the hill.
- Ignore the green sign that says South Hill Farm, this belongs to our neighbours, you need the next entrance.
- You will see our white sign on the left, just after the steepest bit of the hill
- Turn left into our gateway
If you get to the sign that says Welcome to Stow-on-the-Wold then
you have gone too far.
